Zonal Athletics Meet 2024: Divisional Champions

We are immensely proud to announce that Sri Gnanawasa Maha Vidyalaya has emerged as the overall champions at the Minuwangoda Education Zone Athletics Meet for the year 2024. Our athletes showcased exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

The school secured a total of 12 Gold medals, 8 Silver medals, and 5 Bronze medals, completely dominating the track and field events. Special commendations go to our Under-19 relay team who set a new zonal record, breaking a milestone that stood for over a decade.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the sports instructors, coaches, and parents who supported our students on this journey. This victory is a testament to the hard work and discipline cultivated within our school grounds.
